This quilt was inspired by many walks in the country, peering into dark, moody woods, and imagining woodland creatures peering back at me.   The boy, Pan’s spirit, came to my composition table first and then followed the need to add music.  I experimented with the movement of spiraling “flying geese” to lift the notes up through the branches.
