This urchin came to "life" in a Quilting By the Lake class led by quilt artist Penny Sisto as she challenged me to create a water being.  I saw a mischievous twinkle in his eyes so I added the hint of golden horns and gave him an array of friendly sea playmates.  "He" is a bit androgynous - perhaps a young girl  in your eyes?
