Africa on Her Mind

34" x 33"

My daughter Polly traveled to Namibia eleven days after America's 9/11, 2001,  tragedies, determined to fulfill her commitment to work with endangered cheetahs.  I prepared this quilt for her return using African fabrics as well as "cheetah" fabric pulled off the trunk liner of her refurbished car!  In her messages home she mentioned that she was also working with black rhinos - they are added across the bottom edge of this piece.
